"Stratford Bards Racing was set up in 2004, with the sole aim of providing the excitement of Racehorse ownership in an affordable way.

We have been very fortunate to visit the winners enclosure on several occasions.   2007 was a year that most Racing Syndicates could only dream of.  Elopement was the winning most horse in Britain claiming six victories at Warwick, Ascot, Bath, Hamilton and twice at Musselburgh.  I was extremely proud when collecting "The Channel Four Trophy" live on air, on behalf of the Race Club from  Alistair Down at the end of the season.

All of the horses we will be buying are well bred,  lightly raced and have the potential to improve.  The plan is to run them for 12 months, at which point we will then be looking to sell them for a profit, keep them racing for another 12 months, or in the cases of the fillies keep them as Broodmares.

It goes without saying that we won't strike it lucky with every horse that we buy, but the trainers that we choose will have a proven track record with this type of horse.  The jockeys that we will use will be both reliable and trustworthy.  The people running the club will give an excellent level of communication and service both on and off the racecourse".
